| Wednesday is the end of the Kemetic year. Heading up to Chicago Thursday for the Retreat... not with CDs in hand. It occurs to me that I haven't even worked seriously on the CD in a month, with all the other stuff going on.
But as promised, this was a powerful year...
Starting from nothing, I got an album 90% done in 4 months, 98% done in 7 months. (And would probably have finished it this year had I made it a higher priority.)
I wrote multithreaded C++ code, including converting a memory/call tracker from single- to multithreaded (ewww). I got off to a good start in 3D graphics, with an extremely flexible particle system that will only get better when we tie it into the GMs' scripting language. :)
I took control of my blood sugar. There were a couple of fits and starts along the way, but I'm there now.
I gave Aikido an honest try.
I learned about netjeri (though I still can't answer KI Ini's question). I learned more about my Mother and what to do about Her. ;) I learned a bit about myself and what to do about me.
Some of that took a lot of work, and I'm fine with that. Here's hoping next year is this good. :)
