Stress and worry and general down-ness finally arrived today -- a few hours after two semi trucks tried to kill me. Well, one of them was a halfhearted try at best.

The other came up on my rear at least 20 MPH faster than I (and other traffic) was going, blew its big loud intimidating horn, and must have been within 2-3 feet of my bumper -- it's hard to say when all you see in the rear view mirror is the word "MACK." After that he slowed down to about 50. :P

But I'm back to being pretty calm now. I have less to be stressed about than a lot of my friends. I'm not buying a house -- renting an apartment is much simpler, assuming CitiBank didn't mangle my credit with its bizarre credit account that I don't actually have. I didn't just have a baby. There's only one more milestone in my spiritual life that I have trepidation about, and I'm pretty secure in the thought that I wouldn't have been pointed toward it if I couldn't deal with it.

Having more fun with my phone now that the Bluetooth USB dongle is here. The photo quality is definitely lacking -- there's unfortunately no way to reduce the JPG compression, even though you can stick a 128MB memory card in the thing. It's tuned for phone screen sized stuff even though it's really 640x480.

However, it'll make interesting thumbnails I can post, and I might just have to make a new gallery thinger. Something simple and automatic with web-based uploads maybe.

The other side of the coin is I can download ringtones (MID, WAV, MP3) and wallpaper (JPG) and applications (Java and Symbian) now. Finally, some games that don't suck.

Because all you really need in life is Gir, Donkey, and Come Closer To Bowl wallpaper, the Pinky & The Brain song, SameGame, and a Tetris clone.

In fact, there's an application for this phone that automatically builds gallery web pages from your photos via email. :)

Hmmmm, maybe put up that pic of KCAM? That would've been interesting for the person on the line of "How's my driving call 800-xxx-xxxx" to want to know why you want their email.

In a sense I envy you, except for the t-storm warnings and whatnot, because I just moved into a $1600/month apt and every time I get home all of the free parking is already used up.

It's a good thing I call parking excercise.
