| No new apartment today, after all. They had me down as moving in Sept. 30th... which is when I told them I absolutely had to be out of the OLD place. I wrote Sept. 13th on my application for the move-in date and they said that would be fine. Guh.
I told 'em our big moving day is next Saturday. The occupant is becoming a non-occupant this weekend, so they'll call me first thing Monday and do what they can to get me in there this week. Here's hoping it doesn't go wrong, or conversely, that it does go wrong, but in a good way and I get a big two-bedroom place for the same rate in time for moving day, and they let me keep it at that rate. Riiiiight. :)

The title of your entry reminds me of my days playing Magic: The Gathering, though. Whenever anyone I knew would play a "Arcane's Denial" (which is like a counter-spell), we'd always say (quite loudly, or in the most evil way possible), "Denied!", heh.
