Eeeek!
This was the state my machine was in this morning. Except that message stays on the screen for about 1/4 second before rebooting, so I had to watch it several times to even catch part of it.
Thankfully it's not the only computer in the house, and with Steph's machine to google for me, I found this page and had everything back to normal in an hour's time. Right back to pre-crash condition.
It almost didn't happen -- I had tweaked my System Restore Point disk space usage down to minimum, which only left barely enough room for two points. It wrote one when I booted from the default backup registry (where Windows boots but none of your software or interesting drivers appear to be installed) and almost overflowed the cache. I tweaked that up a bit today :P
I will also back up my important stuff today -- like all the music I made in the past 9 months, the audio software I bought for it that didn't come on physical CD-ROMs, important email and docs, etc. Heh.
