| Here are a bunch of MP3's I've stuck on my site in the past 3 months or so and linked to from elsewhere. It's a mix of stuff I'm proud of and stuff I'm not, stuff I spent a lot of time and effort on and stuff I didn't... and there isn't necessarily a correlation between those. :)
For the second album:
(Lotus Wire)-shroud.mp3 (Tayet)
(Lotus Wire)-Upper and Lower.mp3 (Nekhbet and Wadjet)
Covers, with vocals done by speech synthesis and vocoder and heavy processing:
12-03-foosnark-bodycount.mp3 (Front Line Assembly's "Body Count", cover for a KVR forum contest; the drums are not done with drum sounds, the guitar not done with guitar sounds, nor the vocals done with voice)
(Lotus Wire)-Front242Headhunter-CyborgPygmyMix.mp3 (from Future Music magazine's most difficult "Remix The Stars" contest ever, given raw samples of individual notes/drum hits from Front 242's Headhunter)
Other stuff:
uTonicNoodle.mp3 (done entirely with MicroTonic drum plugin, just toying with it. Had fun overlaying patterns with different time signatures on top of each other.)
hork.mp3 (done at the office on an old demo version of FLStudio in about 15 minutes, using some weirder plugins.)
(Lotus Wire)-could not save.mp3 (something I started using a single Rhino patch I built from scratch, two Oberheim DMX drum samples, and some FX with heavy automation on their controls, but I got errors every time I tried to save it so I just rendered it to WAV unfinished.)
(Lotus Wire)-kawaglitch.mp3 (a toy Kawasaki keyboard, played by shorting across two contacts with a screwdriver, with a little reverb added.)
(Lotus Wire)-Reanimate.mp3 (was going to be something else but I couldn't work out the creative or technical bugs. Has some nifty elements though.)
(Lotus Wire)-Twisty Bits.mp3 (a little bit I did without any purpose, but it grows on you in an Aphex Twin sort of way.)
(Lotus Wire)-Big Fly.mp3 (another thing with no particular direction, in fact much of it is random or algorithmic.)
